Lettings Lister – Notting Hill

Location: Notting Hill, London
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–6:00 pm, with one Saturday in three, 10:00 am–4:00 pm
Salary: £25,000–£28,000 DOE, plus £5,000 car allowance and an enhanced commission scheme

About the Role

Chestertons is seeking an ambitious, personable and results driven Lettings Lister to join our established team in the heart of Notting Hill. Renowned for its beautiful period properties, elegant garden squares, vibrant streets and sought-after residential addresses, Notting Hill offers an exciting and rewarding lettings market.

With a minimum of three years’ experience in the property industry, you will have a proven track record in winning new instructions, building lasting client relationships and achieving strong commercial results. You will possess excellent knowledge of the local property market, a confident approach to business development and the ability to deliver an exceptional level of service to landlords and clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Supporting the Lettings Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
• Conducting professional market appraisals and rental valuations, providing informed advice on pricing and market positioning.
• Proactively winning new instructions and developing a strong portfolio of rental properties across Notting Hill and the surrounding areas.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, property owners and prospective clients.
• Developing an in-depth understanding of the local market, including period conversions, townhouses, mansion blocks and premium rental properties.
• Managing client expectations effectively while identifying opportunities to maximise rental values and secure new business.
• Negotiating confidently with landlords and prospective tenants to achieve successful outcomes.
• Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service throughout the lettings process.
• Keeping up to date with local market trends, competitor activity and rental demand to identify new business opportunities.

• A minimum of three years’ experience in the property industry, ideally within lettings and listing.
• Strong knowledge of the Notting Hill property market, or a demonstrable ability to develop local expertise quickly.
